For those giving Dry January a go, we have a multitude of options for bun-stranglers (Edwardian for non-drinkers!) at Alexander’s, including Mocktails and non-alcoholic gin and beer.

  • Eggs Cooked Your Way– poached egg with salmon, grilled haloumi, spinach and tomato salsa or avocado with chilli, lime and tomato salsa

Amp up your New Year’s resolutions and challenge yourself by taking up a new active hobby. At Alexander’s, we love taking advantage of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales right on our doorstep and here are a few ways you could too:

  • Start a walking group with friends- having an exercise companion drives you to go further. At the end of your route, you can even stop by Alexander’s for a warming drink! Remember, dogs are always welcome in the Parlour and on our covered Garden Terrace
  • Climbing- whether indoors or going all out, this is a great way to build up muscle and endurance
  • Cycling- offers beneficial aerobic exercise and a great reason to explore the striking Yorkshire countryside. Join us on Sunday 6th May 2018 as cyclists soar past Alexander’s when the Tour de Yorkshire passes through Skipton
